70 year old rocker paves the way for the oldies
By 2020 they reckon that 20% of the populaton will be over 60 this lady will not be so unusal then! http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2010/jan/29/mamy-rock-dj-sensation
The UK has more people over 60 than under 16 and throughout the world the older generation are growing exponentially faster in numbers than the younger generation and by 2011 the mean age of the population will exceed 40 for the first time (Help the aged statistics).
Time to consider giving this demographic a little more than a nod.
