Hi,

I found this page randomly by seeing an ad for an irrelevant site on FB, not much on IMDB either. It is a shame that Brit films aren't as well 'Got behind' like the US but hey, I'm going to promote this one for you!

My wife loves Danny Dyer - She's Chinese, it's a strange combo! And when we found this, needless to say she got quite excited. We've always felt that Danny should be a lot bigger than he is now and even some forums in the US are proof that viewers like him and can't understand he hasn't really hit the 'big' time.

Maybe this film will be the catalyst? I love films like this, the cast is great, the story seems good and it's British - what more could we want!?

So is this going for an early 2012 release or going to hit before christmas or leave it for Halloween next year? - please don't do straight to video, that would be so frustrating - but I guess easier to get hold of!

And also get Danny on Loose Women again to promote this haha, they love him on there and so does my wife!

Thanks a bunch benny - yes you are right are little brit films don't seem to get the push they need and if it is a little different and expermental like this one then it gets even less - thanks for the support!

It seems to be a nice stuff a film worth watching. Nowadays, we could hardly get a serious and genuine type. Many waste their valuable time and energy after a mirage but could hardly get at it. How, it is a different taste. latest bollywood films

Like Even More After 2nd Viewing

Hi, I watched my dvd of this again and liked it even more. This time I was struck by how it reminded me of the Spanish film Open Your Eyes (later remade as Vanilla Sky w/Tom Cruise).
Even though I was familiar with the plot, I enjoyed focusing on the performances this time around. I think that's the mark of a good film, that repeated viewings offer different perspectives of the film.

PS. check out an old rock hudson movie called seconds - that was a big influence.

also 'secrets in their eyes' the argentinian film is great if you like spanish/ latin american stuff

I saw the trailer for 7 lives and got quite excited about it. Who wouldn't like to see life from a different perspective, right? Oh and lets not forget, Danny Dyer..personally, I think he is fantastic. However, I found the movie rather distorted with all the flash backs and the minimal amount of realisation between the characters. Given that Dyer was in fact living their lives, it seemed like he wasn't entirely in control, but his voice was in there from time to time. A little more predictable, but desirable from me would be if he tried to change their lives for the better or something along those lines... I am sorry for the negative review but the movie really did not do anything for me. In my opinion, it was a waste of time and I am not surprised it went straight on DVD.

This is a hot topic for me, since I am extremely fond of cinematography history, study cases and stars lives and careers. I once installed a directv phoenix program on my computer just to be able to catch up with my favorite movies that don`t exactly do mainstream on the screens. I am mostly delighted when I find people to share my views with, on this topic. Make sure I will come by again many times from now on.
